The Twilight Saga:The New Moon movie is super-emotional romantic movie

New Moon is Stephenie Meyer's second book in the Twilight series. According to Meyer, the book is about losing true love.An upcoming film adaptation is tentatively set for release on November 20, 2009.
New Moon director Chris Weitz has revealed that the movie is a super-emotional romantic roller-coaster, and Weitz wants his audience to be ready for the ride. "I would like to be able to produce more tears than any movie before, if possible," Weitz was quoted saying on Tuesday.

What's the tear-jerker? You got it: romance! "We've tried our best to deliver on the romantic scenes in the film," Weitz said. "If we could only weigh them with some kind of cubic tear measure!"

Or they could weigh them in box office sales. Many theaters already have begun selling advance tickets to New Moon so viewers can see exactly what will happen between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in this hotly-anticipated second film installment of the Twilight series. Weitz revealed that during filming, the public was obsessed with getting a sneak-peek at the New Moon stars. "I can remember trying to barricade some windows by turning tables over so that they couldn't look in at a cast dinner that they we were having," Weitz said. "When the cast went back to Vancouver there were cameras everywhere. Everyone knows where every set is going to be. It goes with the Internet and all the information is out there all the time, and whenever one of them is spotted it's immediately Twittered."

Actress Miley Cyrus worst celebrity influence of 2009 ; JSYK.com

American pop singer and television and film actress Miley Ray Cyrus is best known for starring as the title character in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. She one of Disney's hottest stars of the past three years with hit records and hit films, has been voted the worst celebrity influence of 2009 by the very people who made her a star, tweens and teens, according to an online poll on Wednesday.

Cyrus, 16, took 42 percent of votes in the poll for AOL's JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website aimed at 9-15 year-olds, pushing Britney Spears and rapper Kanye West into second and third places, respectively, in a section on worst celebrity influences of the year.

No reasons were given for the poor showing of the singer-actress and the popular star of Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" television series.

But the ranking follows a year which has seen Cyrus controversially dating a 20 year-old model, making "slant eyes" in an informal snapshot criticized as mocking Asians, and being accused of pole-dancing on a teen awards show.

Cyrus also came in No. 4 in the category of favorite female artist, behind 19-year-old country sensation Taylor Swift, "I Kissed a Girl" singer Katy Perry and R&B star Beyonce. The poll attracted almost 50,000 votes.

"I think Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being 'Hannah Montana' and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney," said Stephanie Cohen, editor of JSYK.com.

"I think her fans still want her to be the sweet Hannah Montana and she is trying to age up...Parents are definitely resisting it," Cohen told Reuters.

Cyrus has been one of the biggest teen idols in the world since 2006, selling more than 7 million albums, starting her own fashion line, and taking $154 million at the worldwide box-office for "Hannah Montana: The Movie" in 2009.

West, whose interruption of Swift's acceptance speech at a music award show in September was deemed the most shocking moment of 2009, took 19 percent of votes in the worst celebrity influence section.

Swift, the best-selling U.S. artist of 2008, has risen again in popularity this year.

"I think Taylor Swift has done a great job of showing her true self and coming across as very sweet and down to earth. A lot of her songs are about the underdog and teens can really relate to her," said Cohen.

Elsewhere, the stars of vampire movies "Twilight" and its forthcoming sequel "New Moon" dominated the JSYK.com poll. Kristen Stewart was voted favorite female movie actress and Taylor Lautner surged past Robert Pattinson in both the favorite male movie star and "cool guy you'd like to hang out with" categories.

Fashion model Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner were married on Sunday

Fashion model Ivanka Trump and New York Observer Publisher Jared Kushner were married Sunday at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., during a lavish ceremony and reception, according to People. "Ivanka wore the most beautiful dress by Vera Wang that was reminiscent of Grace Kelly," Barbara Walters, a guest at the ceremony, reported on The View this morning.
Ivanka, an executive VP in her father's organization, and Jared, whose father, Charles, is also a real estate developer, like Donald Trump, began dating in 2007 and got engaged last July. Ivanka spent 18 months converting to Judaism for Jared, and the wedding was an Orthodox ceremony, complete with invitations printed in both English and Aramaic. "I only had a three-month engagement so it was all done pretty quickly," Ivanka recently said at a launch party for her book, Trump Card. "To all those women planning a wedding, just be organized and decisive. It also helps if you have a wedding planner helping you out!" Wedding Planning 101

We assume it also helps when your dad owns the venue, but, you know, details. The Donald is on the record as approving of Jared, which had to be a relief to Ivanka. Seriously, imagine bringing your boyfriend home to that guy, with his hand gestures and magnificent branded vodka.

Other guests at the wedding included New York gubernatorial aspirant and famous rodent-face Rudy Giuliani; Baba Wawa and her date, The View executive producer Bill Geddie; and of course Ivanka's mother and stepmother, Donald's first and third wives. Sources said Ivana and Melania were cordial. Advice: Your Ex Husband, His New Wife, Your Kids

Aside from their respective fortunes, Ivanka and Jared already have a leg up on many newlywed couples. Ivanka told New York Magazine earlier this year that they make a great match because they understand each other's demanding work schedules, and neither expects the other to put career aside for family. A relationship based on mutual understanding and compromise? That'll never work!

Twilight star Julia Jones's interview with LimeLife

The Twilight Saga star, who role as Leah Clearwater, Julia Jones spoke exclusively with LimeLife upon returning to Los Angeles from the Eclipse sets in Vancouver.
Leah Clearwater's Julia Jones opens up on her "really good job," new opportunities and - yes! - working with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Here we kick off a highly-coveted two-week series where she shares the shocking story behind landing the part of Leah, the ways your life transforms when you've starred in the biggest film franchise in the world, and the inside truth about Twilight cast relationships.

Interview Highlights:

LimeLife: Julia, you've just played this amazing role in Eclipse and we can't wait to hear about it. First though, can you tell us from where else we might know you?

Julia Jones: Probably the most notable thing was that I did a recurring role on ER. I appeared in their final season [as Dr. Kaya Montoya], so it was pretty cool to be a part of something that great and large as it was closing. Everybody was appreciating it, so it was a good time to be involved.

LimeLife: We heard that there were open casting calls for Eclipse. How exactly did you score the part of Leah Clearwater?

Julia Jones: The casting director I've had a relationship with for a number of years. She actually just called us up and I went in and auditioned for the director David Slade and for her, and came back about a week later and read for some people from Summit and David again and some of the producers. And then I waited for about a month before I heard anything, and you're right, in that time they were doing huge casting calls and going up to Canada. I think they accepted tapes from anybody so really anyone in the world could put themselves on tape and potentially be seen by the casting people.

LimeLife: Okay, so basically you were tapped on the shoulder to audition for the biggest cinema craze of our time. What kind of relationship did you have with the Twilight series at that time?

Julia Jones: It's interesting because I hadn't read any of the books before I got the audition. I of course was aware of it, I have good friends who have been - I think "obsessed" is the right word - for quite some time. (Laughs.) Then when I got the call for the audition, I actually had a very serious visceral reaction. My heart started beating fast, it's a very unusual thing but I think on some level I think I sort of felt like I knew that this was going to be something important and probably life-changing.

LimeLife: Julia, you were cast with a pretty dynamic and somewhat complex character. Can you tell us about Leah Clearwater?

Watch Live TV on your pc

Julia Jones: Yeah, totally. First of all she's the only werewolf who's a female, which is in itself a very cool thing, but she has this complicated backstory where she is heartbroken because the head of the pack Sam Uley left her for her best friend and her cousin. So in addition to that she's dealing with all the changes that you have in your body when you become a wolf, and as a girl there's really nobody who knows what's happening to her - she's really alone and out there and heartbroken at the same time. And it makes her very angry and mean, and really she's just in a lot of pain and she doesn't know how to ask for help so she lashes out.

LimeLife: What did you bring to Leah's character? Did you relate to her?

Julia Jones: The heartbreak is a very universal emotion and most of us have felt that - I have. So that was clearly part of it. But also just being so caught up in what's going on in your world emotionally that you can't connect to the outside world, that's something that's a hard thing. Anytime you go through something dark and painful, it makes you want to just withdraw from the world, except you can't. I explored what that's like a lot when I was preparing.

One of the fun things that I got to bring to her was just being a tomboy and hanging out with the boys. I was always a huge tomboy growing up and I was always competing. I was the only girl in my football league, and they were so mean to me! (Laughs). And so a lot of that was easy to draw on.

Check back with LimeLife on Thursday for Part Two of our interview with Eclipse's Julia Jones where she will be talking about how Twilight has changed her life.

Meanwhile, read about New Moon's 15-city mall tour - you could meet the cast members in your hometown!

"Michael Jackson's This Is It "open worldwide Tuesday

We know when Michael Jackson died in June, he was just days away from launching a 50-show run of comeback concerts in London.
Now, video footage of preparations for those performances have become "Michael Jackson's This Is It," a documentary opening worldwide Tuesday.

The simultaneous showings around the globe will be anchored by a star-studded premiere at the Nokia Theatre, a 7,100-seat concert venue across the street from Staples Center, where many of Jackson's rehearsals — and his high-profile public memorial — were held.

Longtime Jackson collaborator Kenny Ortega, who directed and produced "This Is It," is expected to attend, as are members of Jackson's band and the executors of his will. Entertainers including Snoop Dogg, Smokey Robinson and Zac Efron are also on the guest list.

Fans are likely to swarm the area, too: Many waited in line for days to buy tickets for advance screenings of "This Is It" at the new Regal Cinemas on site, which will show the film to sold-out audiences Tuesday on all 14 of its screens.

The film, culled from more than 100 hours of rehearsal footage, shows an enthusiastic King of Pop meticulously crafting his moves and performing some of his most beloved hits. No critics have seen it, but Sony — which paid $60 million for the film rights — showed a 12-minute clip to entertainment journalists last week.

Some of Jackson's family members and friends have seen "This Is It" in its entirety. Elizabeth Taylor, a longtime friend of the pop star, posted her thoughts Monday on Twitter.

"It is the single most brilliant piece of filmmaking I have ever seen," she wrote on the micro-blogging site. "It cements forever Michael's genius in every aspect of creativity."

The 77-year-old actress added that she "wept from pure joy at his God-given gift" and urged her fans to see the film "again and again."

"This Is It" opens in theaters Wednesday for a limited run, lending it some of the exclusivity of Jackson's aborted concert stand in London.

"We think the 16 days is right. It's sort of a special event that you want to frame in a special way," said Rory Bruer, head of distribution for Sony.

Jackson died June 25 at age 50. The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled the death a homicide, caused primarily by the powerful anesthetic propofol and another sedative. Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, has not been charged with a crime but is the focus of the police investigation.

Model Ivanka Trump weeding with Jared Kushner

The daughter of Ivana and Donald Trump, fashion model Ivanka Trump and New York Observer Publisher Jared Kushner were married Sunday at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., during a lavish ceremony and reception, according to People.
The 27-year-old model Ivanka Trump swapped vows with New York Observer owner Jared Kushner Sunday in New Jersey, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

The daughter of real estate mogul Donald Trump wore a Vera Wang gown inspired by Grace Kelly and celebrated the day with more than 500 guests.

Guest Regis Philbin serenaded the newlyweds during the reception planned by celebrity event designer Preston Bailey.

"I always envisioned myself having a traditional and elegant wedding," Trump, 27, told Brides.com after her engagement in July.

Trump tweeted just hours before exchanging vows with Kushner, 28: "Just finished a gorgeous hike. The leaves are spectacular and the sun is shining. Everything is simply perfect! I'm getting married today!"

According to The Associate Press, wedding guests included Rudy Giuliani, Barbara Walters and Emmy Rossum.

Jennifer Aniston coming back to TV show with Oprah Winfrey

Jennifer Aniston has agreed to do a weekly show for Oprah's new cable channel, OWN, when it finally launches sometime next year, according to a report over the weekend.Jennifer Aniston is all excited to host a weekly show.

Jennifer Aniston as a talk show host? We can totally see it, especially if it means working with Oprah. Allegedly, Jennifer became super interested in starting her own show after hanging out with Chelsea Handler of the late night show Chelsea Lately.

According to a source, "Jen became fascinated with the format after spending time with Chelsea. When she saw Oprah she mentioned that it would be fun to do a chat show and Oprah seized the moment and suggested they front one together for her new network."

The deal hasn't been confirmed yet, but sources are saying salary doesn't matter much to Jen since she makes $5-7 million a movie and really wants to do this show. The source says, "She is doing this for one reason only; she absolutely wants to do it."

We think a talk show with Jennifer Aniston and Oprah would be wildly popular. We wonder if Jen is trying to show how approachable and friendly she really is. If so, we think this is a great way for her to show it!

Miley Cyrus Never attacked by Swine Flu

American pop singer and television and film actress Miley Ray Cyrus is best known for starring as the title character in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. We love a good celebrity rumor. And when we heard that Miley Cyrus had swine flu, we realized the possibility it could be a rumor. It turns out it was. Or at least that's what she's saying anyway.

And who, of all people, started the rumor that Miley Cyrus had swine flu? Well, Miley's co-star, Cody Linley, of course. And Miley's not too happy about it. Can you blame her?

Cody, who plays Miley's sometimes boyfriend on Hannah Montana, reportedly said, "I spoke with her the day that she canceled the tour. She said she felt really bad, she didn't understand what was happening, but she just got really sick and had to run off stage because things were just like on her heart, too heavy... Then the next day she told me she had the swine flu."

Things were on her heart too heavy? Clearly, Cody doesn't really know what he's talking about, but we're just not sure why he would say Miley told him she had swine flu if she never did.

Miley says she never told him that. And in true 16-year-old Miley Cyrus fashion, she says, "Freaking Cody Linley was on the carpet last night and I think that he just like said stuff, so no... I had like really really bad strep, and I was really really sick, but no....I'm gonna give him a talking to!"

We hope Miley Cyrus isn't embarrassed if she really does have swine flu. After all, nothing to be ashamed of; it almost seems like everyone is getting it these days. It might make everyone feel better about it if Miley Cyrus gets swine flu and then fights it off!

Dancing's Mya: interview with TVGuide.com

American R&B singer,tap-dancer and model Mya Marie Harrison will compete on the ninth season of Dancing with the Stars.
Mya is "excited" Dancing with the Stars judge Len Goodman has finally lavished praise on her ballroom skills, but she's still feeling black and blue. "I have bruises all over my legs," she tells TVGuide.com.Find out what happened and more.

TVGuide.com: You finally got praise from Len. How did that feel?
Mya: [Laughs] Yes, it was such an accomplishment! I cannot complain about that. We've been working really, really hard to please him. It's been a little confusing because the first time, he said he wanted simplicity; the second time, he said he wanted simplicity; and the third time, he said he expected more. We were a little thrown off each time. The Argentine tango was more of a traditional dance, whereas the lambada was a little looser, so we thought we'd do really well with the intricacy of the choreography and the difficulty and the footwork. He liked it, but Carrie Ann and Bruno didn't think the performance aspect was there, so you can't please them all! ... I'm kind of thankful for [Len's criticism] because it didn't make me too comfortable!

Dancing's Melissa Joan Hart unsure if being paired with Mark is a "good thing or a bad thing"

TVGuide.com: How did his criticism affect rehearsals? Did you feel more pressure?
Mya: Yeah, well, we always feel the pressure to do better each week. But when the timeframe's shortened, I sort of wanted Dmitry to tone down the choreography, especially when Len said it was too much. It's hard to learn so much in so little time and be able to perform it and make it look easy. I ask him if we can change things that I just don't know how to do or that I cannot get after 25 times! ... Dmitry is a very accomplished guy and the stuff he throws at me is really, really difficult sometimes.

TVGuide.com: What happened in rehearsals last week? You kicked him where it hurts.
Mya: [Laughs] Not intentionally! I wouldn't do that! The choreography was so weird and you had to use a lot of footwork and your knees obviously elevate, and when you elevate while you're turning, you can definitely hurt someone! They only showed [one kick], but I kneed him in the [groin] a couple of times. I suggested he wear a cup!

TVGuide.com: How do you feel about the jitterbug this week?
Mya: That'll be fun. It's kind of, like, rock 'n' roll. I love the contrast from week to week. There's nothing similar. Dmitry is now sick, so we'll see what happens. It's the beginning stages of something, so I think we're all going to get flu shots. So Dmitry needs a cup and a flu shot! All the pro dancers haven't gotten any rest because they have numbers to do every night, the Michael Jackson tribute and our knockout dance and our main dance and our group dance. They're working their behinds off.

TVGuide.com: Do you re-watch your routines?
Mya: I actually didn't for the first four weeks and I just started last week after we performed the lambada. I started watching to see where I could do better. I watched Monday's performance. I'm just happy it's over. That's the hardest dance so far. It had weird timing, rhythm, and is very painful. It's so contained, confined and all internal muscles working. You use almost every muscle in your body and I've never experienced so much shoulder pain or ankle pain in my life.

TVGuide.com: Carrie Ann said you were disconnected from your character in the Argentine tango. Are you going to focus on getting into character more this week?
Mya: Carrie Ann said I didn't have an internal dialogue and looked very distant and I probably did! I was probably focusing too much on the steps because they're still not in my body. I don't want to mess up because if I do, it's noticeable and that's the last thing I want. I'd rather compromise a lack of character versus missing a step and messing up my whole routine.

TVGuide.com: You had the group hustle last week and this week there's the mambo marathon and the knockout dance for the bottom two. How crazy is it preparing multiple dances?
Mya: Our knockout dance is still not together! We haven't had the time to focus on it, but hopefully we won't have to perform it. We still have to be prepared because you never know. We chose the cha-cha. It's tough doing so many. The most challenging thing is having to shut things down with your managers and agents. They're doing their jobs and providing you with lots of opportunities, but you have to pick and choose. You have to say no. And they are lots of fun things, lots of parties, events, fashion shows. And then sometimes they get pissed off at you! [Laughs]

TVGuide.com: You should know you've topped our power rankings with a third of the vote twice already.
Mya: Wow! Really? Thank you! That makes me nervous! I just want to get better. I have to just zone out and compete with myself. I have to do better. I'm not there yet 100 percent, obviously look at the scores. It's just about doing my best and pleasing the audience at this point. Whatever the scores are, they're going to be what they're going to be. But I always want to put on a great show and put my all into it.

Lady Gaga will dress "monster" at upcoming concerts

American recording artist Lady Gaga will dress as a ''monster'' for her upcoming 'Monster Ball' tour which starts next month.
The 'Paparazzi' singer is about to embark on her 'Monster Ball' tour next month and the flamboyant pop star - famed for her outrageous outfits - is going to take her fashion inspiration from the title.

Lady Gaga told Rolling Stone magazine: "The fashion is going to be another exploration and another level from where we were with the previous tour, the 'Fame Ball'. The theme of monsters is certainly going to be an influence, as well as the theme of evolution and change. It's going to be a truly artistic experience that is going to take the form of the greatest post-apocalyptic house party that you've ever been to."

Lady Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - was due to hit the road with Kanye West.

However, the tour - entitled 'Fame Kills', and which had been planned for months - was cancelled earlier this month, just weeks after Kanye was heavily criticised for invading the stage during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards.

But the 23-year-old singer hasn't ruled out the possibility of touring with him in the future.

Lady Gaga said: "It just wasn't the right timing. I don't want to embellish on it too much, because I want to respect Kanye's privacy. But we just had our own reasons. We're real friends, real friends can make decisions like that, and we wanted to keep the momentum going in terms of pop music staying innovative with hip-hop and R'n'B. But who's to say what will happen in the future?"

ABC developing Skating With the Stars

ABC is currently developing a new Skating with the Celebrities-like reality series with Dancing with the Stars' BBC Worldwide production

Though there were definitely some skeptics in the start, Dancing With the Stars has been a huge success for ABC. So huge, that they're looking at doing variations on the show and, of course, Skating With the Stars is a natural twist.

We think Skating With the Stars would be even more entertaining than Dancing With the Stars. Let's face it, anyone can dance if given a few lessons. But put someone in a pair of ice skates and put them on a rink and disaster could ensue. Imagine the injuries that could be sustained on the show!

But then we remembered that a few years ago, Fox tried to do a show called Skating With Celebrities and failed pretty miserably. So, why would ABC basically try to replicate that show?
We think the show's success all depends on the celebrities they bill for the show. Fox had Kristy Swanson, Bruce Jenner, and Dave Coulier. Not really celebrities many people go too crazy for these days. Of course, we'd love to see stars like Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, and Jennifer Aniston. But clearly, these current celebrities are too busy to participate and wouldn't risk breaking bones on the ice.

We have to admit we'd probably watching Skating With the Stars for a change from Dancing With the Stars. Now that ABC has made their mark with the show, we think it is possible they could pull of a skating show as well.

Actress Jennifer Aniston Drunk-Dialing Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie

Actress Jennifer Aniston maybe not a smooth operator. Oops! Jennifer Aniston, step away from the iPhone. Word's out that Jennifer Aniston recently rang ex-hubs Brad Pitt and got a surprise on the other end: Angelina Jolie.

Knuckle-biter, right? According to the story, here's what happened: "When Jen heard Angie's voice, she freaked out. Jen basically told Angie that she hated her, but Angelina fired back and warned Jen to stop calling Brad and harassing her. Angie screamed, 'Leave my family alone!'"

Ouch. This could be one of Hollywood's tall-tales, but despite their reports that all's well and good between them, we think there must be some animosity between Jennifer Aniston -- dontcha think? Although "Leave my family alone"? Her family, after all, was once Jen's family. Never steal a man from a Mediterranean woman.

Australian star Nicole Kidman's movies could contribute to violence against women

Australian movie star Nicole Kidman concedes that some movies probably have contributed to violence against women by showing them as weak sex objects. But, Kidman says those are demeaning roles she's not interested in taking.

And, she says the movie industry has made an effort to contribute to solutions for ending the violence.
Kidman testified before a House Foreign Affairs subcommittee that's considering legislation to deal with violence against women overseas. When asked by Congressman Dana Rohrabacher of Orange County, California, if the movie industry has "played a bad role," Kidman said "probably." But, she quickly added that she herself doesn't. She said she "can't be responsible for all of Hollywood" but she "can certainly be responsible" for her own career.
Nicole Kidman is a goodwill ambassador for the U.N. Development Fund for Women, known as UNIFEM, to promote the International Violence Against Women Act.

Now Paris Hilton wants live lobsters

American model, fashion designer and actress Paris Hilton is known for her appearance in a sex tape in 2003.She keep scoring guest roles on shows. And your demands are absolutely ridiculous. Now Paris wants live lobsters.

We know how celebrities often have a list of things they require backstage when working on a television show or a movie? Well, Paris Hilton has one too. Even though she's simply spending one day filming a movie where she's playing herself. One day and she has a list of demands!

Paris is playing herself in an action comedy called The Other Guys; a role that will take one day to film. According to a source, "The producers were shocked when her team handed them a three-page list of demands - including live lobsters to be prepared fresh when she's ready to eat and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka - all for just one day on the set."

Wouldn't it be nice to have a live lobster cooked and prepared for you whenever you so desired it? But this is necessary for one day of filming? And really, how much Grey Goose vodka is Paris going to be consuming in one day on set? We're thinking she should probably be sober for her acting.

The Other Guys also stars Will Ferrell, Eva Mendes, The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), Mark Wahlberg, Michael Keaton, and Samuel L. Jackson. Some pretty huge stars, so we wonder what their demand lists look like compared to Paris Hilton's.

Of course, Paris's representative says, "This is totally ridiculous and untrue," but we believe it. It sounds just like something Paris Hilton would do!

Natalie Coughlin won't be going for the gold on "Dancing with the Stars."

American swimmer Natalie Coughlin scored Olympic gold, but She won't be going for the gold on "Dancing with the Stars." The superstar swimmer is the latest celeb to be tossed from the pool of dancers.
Coughlin and professional partner Alex Mazo earned 22 out of 30 points for their paso doble on Monday night. The two were at the bottom with pop singer Aaron Carter and partner Karina Smirnoff -- and the judges were surprised.

"Justice should prevail," judge Len Goodman said, "and neither should be there."

When asked about her experience, Coughlin held back tears. "I don't know, I loved this so much. I guess I didn't show it, how much I loved it, but I really did. I'm sorry."

The elimination marks the earliest exit for an individual Olympic gold medalist since the show began in 2005.

Tuesday night's show also featured a performance by Norah Jones and dance tribute to Michael Jackson. The King of Pop's mother and a few siblings were spotted in the audience.

Nine couples remain and will dance the waltz and the jitterbug in addition to a mambo marathon on next week's show.

Joseph Wiseman died on October 19, Who Played Bond Foe Dr. No

Wiseman, who had been in declining health, died Monday at his home in Manhattan, his daughter, Martha Graham Wiseman, told The New York Times and Los Angeles Times.A screen and stage actor, Wiseman's film credits include "Detective Story" (1951) and "The Unforgiven" (1960). He also had guest roles on television shows "Law & Order," "The Streets of San Francisco," "The Twilight Zone" and "The Untouchables," according to The New York Times.

He is likely best known, however, for his villainous role in "Dr. No," the first in a long string of James Bond movies. The 1962 film introduced Sean Connery as James Bond and also starred Ursula Andress.

Wiseman was born in Montreal on May 15, 1918. He moved to the United States with his family when he was a boy.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Wiseman started acting when he was a teenager, getting his start in summer stock.

In 1938, he was given a small part in his first Broadway play, Robert E. Sherwood's "Abe Lincoln in Illinois."

Wiseman's other Broadway credits include "Joan of Lorraine" (1946), "Antony and Cleopatra" (1947), "Detective Story" (1949); and most recently in the stage adaptation of Abby Mann's film "Judgment at Nuremberg" (2001).

"Stage acting was what he wanted to be remembered for," Wiseman's daughter told the Los Angeles newspaper.

Rihanna's new single album releases in November 2009

Singer Rihanna is exposing her fans to more than her music with her new single, "Russian Roulette".

The singer is featured nearly topless on artwork for the song, covered only by what looks to be barbed wire.

The photo fits the apparent theme for her new album, "Rated R," which is due out Nov. 23. It will be her first CD since 2007's "Good Girl Gone Bad," which went multiplatinum. It will also be her first solo single since she was attacked by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

"Russian Roulette" will debut Tuesday on Rihanna's Web site.

Beyonce delays show in Malaysia amid Muslim criticism

American R&B singer Beyonce Knowles has postponed a planned concert in Malaysia, the event's organizer said Monday, following accusations by Islamic conservatives that the show would be immoral.

Knowles, known for her provocative clothes and choreography, had been scheduled to perform at a Kuala Lumpur stadium Oct. 25. The show "has been postponed to a future date to be announced shortly," Malaysian entertainment company Marctensia said in a statement.

"The postponement is solely (the) decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons," the statement said.

A Marctensia representative declined to say whether the decision was prompted by criticism from the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party, the country's largest opposition group, which has called for the show to be scrapped because it would promote "Western sexy performances."

Knowles also canceled a planned performance in Malaysia in 2007 following protest threats by the opposition Islamic party. At the time, her talent agency said the show was called off due to a scheduling conflict.

Instead, Knowles went to Indonesia, also a largely Muslim country, which has less stringent rules about how performers should dress and behave. Female artists at Malaysian concerts are required by government rules to cover up from the shoulders to knees, with no cleavage showing.

Last month, Marctensia addressed concerns that Knowles might wear inappropriate outfits, saying "all parties have come to an amicable understanding" about stage costumes.

Other female pop stars such as Avril Lavigne and Gwen Stefani have performed in Malaysia despite similar protest threats by conservative Muslims. Both singers wore clothes that revealed little skin.

Some entertainment industry officials say the strict regulations and frequent controversies have discouraged many international artists from visiting Malaysia.

Singer Shakira support for illegal downloaders

Singer Shakira has waded into an ongoing U.K. debate over illegal downloads - insisting the controversial practise brings her "closer to her fans".

Lily Allen spearheaded a campaign last month (Sep09) to stop illicit file-sharing and called on the British government to help beat illegal downloaders, who she fears will destroy the music industry.
Sir Elton John, Annie Lennox and George Michael backed her protest - but the Whenever, Wherever hitmaker, who has sold millions of records worldwide, is sympathetic to illegal downloaders.
Shakira tells Sky News, "I like what's going on because I feel closer to the fans and the people who appreciate the music. It's the democratisation of music in a way, and music is a gift. That's what it should be, a gift."
Allen is adamant the practise means artists just starting out in the music business will struggle - but singer Nelly Furtado has also joined the debate, insisting losing sales is irrelevant to success.
She adds, "If you love music you're going to make it anyway. You'll find an audience, and you may not make like millions of dollars but you'll make enough to have a house and a family and a car."

Shakira Went Undercover For University

Singer and dancer Shakira has revealed how she went undercover so she could attend university without getting recognized.

The She Wolf hitmaker, 32, took a break from music in 2006, after releasing the album Oral Fixation Vol. 2, and enrolled on a history course at the University of California in Los Angeles.

And she was so desperate not to attract any attention, she dressed up as a man; changed her name; and wore a disguise so that people would not discover her true identity.

“I needed a break from me,” Shakira told UK newspaper The Guardian. “The universe is so broad, I cannot be at the center of it.

“So I decided to go to the university and study history for a summer course, just to kind of switch gears, taste the student life.

“I used to wear a cap and a big backpack, I looked like a boy. I didn’t get recognized. Some people looked at me very suspiciously, a few people asked me, but I told them my name was Isabelle. I would go to university over and over again if I could.”

“I should care less,” Shakira said of her career. “It has been 20 years, but I still care about my career. I care about the music. I’m not normal.”

Kardashian not desperate for a baby at now

Yahoo a news published on friday that Kim Kardashian wants to make a few things clear: she is not desperate for babies, despite her love of kids and interest in having a family one day.

The bikini cover girl and reality show star might have gotten back together with Reggie Bush, but she's taking each day as it comes."People ask if you want children and I say yes, and then it's like 'Kim’s desperate for a baby!'" Kim told E! News. "My sister is having a baby and it's such a fun, exciting time… I would definitely hope to have kids one day soon…not too soon, but one day!"

Kim Kardashian's probably too busy to have kids considering it wasn't too long ago that she had split with Reggie because it was hard for them to see each other regularly. With him in New Orleans and her in Los Angeles (and everywhere else doing photoshoots), it's not hard to see that she'd have to make a major change in her schedule to accommodate a husband, let alone a child.

Appear in court during routine progress report Judge orders to Lindsay Lohan

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel has ordered Lindsay Lohan to a Beverly Hills court this morning to check her progress on a drunk driving case.

The court appearance stems from a 2007 incident in which she crashed her car on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills and was arrested for driving under the influence.

She eventually agreed to a plea bargain that called for probation, time in a treatment program and community service. The judge's order was made during a routine progress report hearing on Wednesday.
Court records show that no warrant has been issued, and they do not reflect a probation violation has occurred.
Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Marsha N. Revel scheduled the hearing to examine how Lohan, 23, is complying with the sentence.

It's unclear whether the judge believes Lohan is in violation of the sentence. She spent 84 minutes in jail. It is unclear why Lohan has been ordered to appear.

Pop star Taylor Swift hosts "Saturday Night Live"

American country pop singer and actress Taylor Swift hosts "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 7 and she seems to have Kanye West in her crosshairs.

"I've been thinking about skit ideas for a long time," the 19-year-old Swift said. "There are definitely some hilarious things that have happened to me over the past couple of months that I think will be pretty substantial skits."

One of those things happened at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 13, when West interrupted Swift while she was accepting a trophy for best female video.

West thought Beyonce was robbed. As a result, he stole Swift's moment to shine. He later apologized.
Before Swift hits the stage at the 35-year-old late-night skitfest, she's performing on "Dancing With the Stars" on Oct. 27, no doubt hoping that no one will upstage her on this occasion.

All that will likely be material for the creative minds at "SNL."

Her career record sales now top 10 million albums and 20 million paid song downloads.

She has been nominated for four CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, the youngest artist in history to be honored. She has had five No. 1 singles on country charts and two consecutive No. 1 songs on the pop charts.
