*Mr. Hong Kong 2011 first round of interview: Big Eye Rain' most eye catching | News | Entertainment News | Hong Kong News*

Yesterday Mr. Hong Kong 2011 held the first round of interviews in Kowloon Bay. This year TVB already filtered out the bizarre looking ones, but the quality of the 32 participants are rather mediocre compared to past years. Fortunately, there are some handsome guys in the group, such as the smart 'Big Eye Rain', the model 'Sharp Face Edwin Siu' Edmond, 'Kung Fu Henry', 'Small Eye Kenny Wong' and 'Flying Leg Yuen Biao' were the most eye-catching.

This year the Mr. HK participants are no longer bizarre looking, but instead have 'Chok look' features. Each one of them are packed with self-confidence and posed for a Chok look in front of the cameras.

Tall and handsome 'Big Eye Rain' and the model 'Sharp Face Edwin Siu' Edmond Siu, who was also in Joey Yung's MV earlier just did a simple 'arms tucked in pocket' pose and was already attractive to death. Other participants were not weak either, fully putting their own charm in good use, like 'Squared Angle Raymond Lam'. 'Thick Eyebrow Laughing Gor' copied Laughing Gor's haughty look exactly. Others include, 'Tanned Chilam Cheung', 'Hydrated Ron Ng', 'Powdered Face Pakho Chau' and 'Silly Bosco Wong'.

Mr. HK finals held on July 16th

Mr. HK Producer (Wai Sai Fai) expressed that this year's Mr. HK Contest finals will be held in TVB City on July 16, 2011. There were 40 gentlemen that applied, but 8 of them were absent, so only 32 were interviewed. He will provide a follow-up again soon, and reveals many contestants came from the United States and Canada. Later, they will appear in swimwear and perform in a talent show. 10-12 of the participants will advance into the finals. TVB executives Stephen Chan and Virgina Lok will be part of the judging panel. Regarding a contestant with a tattoo, are they are at a disadvantage? He said: "Does not matter, but we will look and see what type of tattoo he has." As he will remind the Mr. HK contestants that they will need to be checked, but will not enforce restrictions on the own personal blogs and pictures.
